I don't have much to add here except: 1. I hated all of the "What Would You Do"s. Some of them are really hard!

I later figured out that they're located on the same page in which their content is discussed, so Chapter 16 is so scary I feel it's worth mention. My professor had us do this chapter after Chapt. Little did I know, Chapter 16 Shorelines and Shorline Processes , with it's sunny beaches and pictures of surfers was hiding more than one tidbit that would haunt me for the rest of my life!

It certainly looks new, and I'm almost considering downloading it. So far in class this book has been very useful. It's nothing like a regular textbook either! There are TONS of pictures, which you need for geology, and they set up the information very nicely. Instead there's smaller, 5 sentence paragraphs. The pictures and diagrams are well and concisely explained in this small paragraph form, so your specific homework question can not only be easily found, but also easily answered.

They also took out a lot of unnecessary text. The world-class media, spectacular presentations, and assessments are all tightly articulated with the textbook. This book is designed to encourage students to observe, interpret, think critically, and engage in authentic inquiry, and is highly acclaimed by reviewers, instructors, and students.
